Unlike RTK GPS systems, it relies primarily on visual landmarks rather than satellite precision, which means it works well in open, well-lit yards but can lose confidence under heavy shade or in identical-looking grass expanses.
In practice, boundary accuracy is ±20–30 cm in good conditions — adequate for maintaining a clear edge, though not as crisp as RTK. For most small yards, this is completely fine.
